B1A4’s Agency Releases Official Statements About Car Accident
On January 27, 2018, B1A4 was involved in a car accident as they were traveling to the ICON concert in Inje. The accident occurred along the way, around the Gapyeong area in the Gyeonggi Province. Reportedly, their car collided with the vehicle in front of them.
Immediately, the group was taken to the hospital nearby for future examinations, but that meant they would unfortunately not be able to attend the event.
Their company, WM Entertainment, released a statement on the group’s homepage to update fans on their status. Below is a rough translation.
“Hello. WM entertainment.
First of all, I’m sorry to have to tell you late, to the fans concerned about the news of the accident.
On January 27, a car accident occurred while traveling to attend the ” Icons Concert ” held at the Center’s Great Performing Arts Center in Inje-gun, Gangwon-do.
As follow-up to B1A4 members was the most important issue in the accident that occurred suddenly, I apologize for the delay in notifying fans of the precise results of my diagnosis after hospital treatment.
Now B1A4 is being examined at a local hospital and diagnosed with accidental bruises and muscle pain, rested and stabilized.
WM Entertainment will do its best to help its members recover quickly, and the safety of its artists will be a top priority.
Again, I want to apologize to the fans for causing such a great deal of anxiety, and to the audience for waiting for the B1A4 performance at the Icon Concert.”
