JBJ Confirmed To Be Concluding Activities In April And Not Extending Contract
The fan imagined group, JBJ, will finally be coming to an end.
It was thanks to the hard work of the idols, their companies, and the fans, that the fan imagined group JBJ was born. Noh Tae Hyun, Kenta, Kim Sang Gyun, Kim Yong Guk, Kwon Hyun Bin, and Kim Dong Han were each contestants on Product 101 Season 2, and while they didn’t make the top slots, they earned a wave of love from fans. The group made their debut together in October of 2017 with Fantasy and followed it with their first comeback My Flower in January of 2018.
The group will, unfortunately, be disbanding after their contract ends on April 30.
See the official statement below. Please keep in mind, these are a rough translation.
“We appreciate the fans who expressed their support and encouragement to us so that we could continue our journey like a dream. In the meantime, the JBJ has been saying to the end of the contract that they need to continue their activities for extended periods of time, and it has become very frank and attentive. Based on that, we have also received a lot of opinions on our future. From the time the official team is complete, the JBJ will go back to their respective positions and prepare for individual, re-established teams, and more.”
The members will work hard to meet with their fans until they go their separate ways to their own activities.
