Winners Recap For The 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) In Japan

On November 29, 2017, the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards took place in the Yokohama Arena in Japan.  Stars flew out for the prestigious occasion, both to perform and accept their awards.

The awards are presented by Qoo10 and acknowledge the achievements of Asian musical artists for the past year.  It highlights their accomplishments and gives some a chance to show their skills live with incredible performances and collaborations, plus all sorts of celebrity appearances.

Competition for these awards was intense this year, with voting issues found early on and fans scrambling to help their favorites win.

Awards aren’t all people tune in for!  There were some incredible performance in this star-filled ceremony.  The event began with an incredible collaboration medley of BoA’s hits with SEVENTEEN, TWICE, and a beautiful collaboration with Hwang Min Hyun (Wanna One and NU’EST) and BoA.  That was just to start!  Monsta X chimed in with “Dramarama” and a remix version of “Beautiful”, followed by a collaboration of Weki Meki, Chungha, and PRISTIN with “It’s Showtime”.  The show continued with even more stellar performances, and even some new groups like fromis_9!
