Wiwimisia transforms simple line art into beautifully colored masterpieces
Welcome back to the fan art section of One Stop K-Pop, where we feature amazing artists of all mediums. Our previous post focused on an artist who focused on Got7 and did some amazing touches with water color. Today, we’ve got a wonderful artists who uses multiple mediums in order to take a simple line art drawing and turn it into something incredible.
When you watch some of the videos from their YouTube Channel, I’m sure you’ll be as amazed as I was at how the images go from just a basic human outline, with almost no detail, to something like the images featured here.
One of the things I enjoyed most about this artist is how the colors are blended. The images themselves, when in color, have a more ‘grainy’ look and feel, which is different than normal. You can see the different colors used distinctly in parts, but in others, they’re blended smoothly so you can’t tell where one color starts and the other ends. This artist also does a wonderful job at skin tones. Just in two of the images featured here, there’s a distinct difference in the way the skin was done, but both of them look wonderful.
Check out their Instagram for more images and work in progresses! They also feature a variety of different types of videos on their YouTube Channel worth checking out; from notebook DIYs to speed draws. The craft DIYS are perfect to watch for people who want to create their own K-Pop merchandise or can’t get access to existing merchandise. These will walk you through the process, step by step, just slow the video down to follow along.
